Act IV Jae

After resolving the issue with Chorda and one warp jump, Vigdis reports that Jae has disappeared along with her belongings. She’s not on Footfall, no quest has started, where can I find her?

If it helps anyone, about Jae's quest:
I decided it myself because... yep. So, it didn’t even trigger for me even after recent patch, and the quest chain with Chorda = failure of the quest, we take Jae to the planet, look for "Falco" in the toybox, press start "Find Falco", promise to help Tokara, but don’t call Chorda yet, talk to the bartender (possibly not necessarily), in the same place, where there was an exit from the bar, a new exit has appeared that leads to the sewer. There we already appear in the place of Jae’s script, go through stealth - and that’s it, we’re great, the day is saved. But buuuuuuugs.

I lost her as well and was waiting for her return - but she didn't come back even when leaving for chapter 5. So I guess I missed some companion quest because I never took her out with me in chapter 3 and chapter 4... ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

No, as I see it, if you fail to save her gang sooner than confront Chorda, she leaves to save them by herself and possibly dies.

Yeah, something like that - the game never told me that her crew was in some kind of predicament (and there was no quest that I should talk to her). So I really was surprised as she just left. I really thought she needed some scripted time off. Took me half a chapter to realise that she left for good...

If you didn't get her quest "Rat Hunting" -- which I didn't either -- you can trigger it manually by using toolbox.

1. get the toolbox mod (obviously) -- you can find it on nexusmods or here in the workshop.
2. open the mod in game -- ctrl + f10
3. go to the 'search 'n pick' tab.
4. wait for things to load
5. on the left, press 'quests'.
6 in the right column, type: JaeQ2

Now a quest named JaeQ2_quest should pop up. Press the start button and the "Rat Hunting" quest will start.

For everything to work correctly, I believe you need to activate this quest before starting the Chorda questline on Footfall. So if you want to keep playing, load a game before you entered footfall and do the above.

Then when entering the Axium and you moved forward a bit, Jae should start some cutscene. From there just follow the quest.
