Psyker’s stave power level

Hi all, new to the game here.

Just found a staff that gives the wielded the Vision of Death ability. The damage calculation for the ability mentions the psyker’s staff/stave power level. What is this value and where can I see it?

Doesn't it tell you when you right click on the staff in inventory?

Its listed on the tooltip for the staff. Read the description.

to look at the actual ability info(if that is what you are asking), you need to look at it after you equipped it and then go to the action bar and right click on the ability. Cumbersome, but the only way to get details on each weapon ability.

It's the purple number on you character sheet as well labeled PR.

That’s Psy Rating I think. Staff/stave power rating is in the description of the staff. Never played a CRPG before and man is it complicated sometimes!

some staffs don't have it listed in the descritpion, like the "Detachment From Death" which is very similar to the "Staff of Mindsight". Wish the value was listed under the Psy Rating, or at least in its tooltip.
