Cassia's kind of a monster
Not in terms of combat or anything, though she's an absolute beast there. I meant generally. She's arrogant, demanding, rude, selfish, and so dense that light can't escape from her gravitational pull. She's got practically no control over her powers and shoves the blame for it onto others. Her obliviousness was cute at first, but I'm finding her increasingly frustrating. She's a danger to herself and my entire ship. Are there ANY other options for a navigator, or am I stuck with this ticking time bomb who might at some point become mildly frustrated or startled and cause half my crew to go insane and kill each other?

Believe it or not... Other than being unusually gregarious... This is perfectly normal for a Navigator of her power level.

Right now, after all these conflicts coming to a head... My options are:

"My crew is right to fear you, you're a monster and I forbid you from leaving your chambers unless needed."

"Oh you silly you just need to learn how to talk to people."

"You've done terrible things, but I'm a simp and you're a noble so you're in charge here."

"Power of friendship will defeat your woes."

"Hyper Simp Overdrive anyone who talked ♥♥♥♥ about you will be punished you're perfect and flawless."

And like, I'm leaning towards 'you're a monster' because 1) she kind of is. 2) she's undermining the authority and tasks of my other companions and minions. 3) she's a danger to herself and everyone around her. Like... what's my best option here? I don't want to completely be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but even Idria has better control over her powers. At least she didn't... I dunno, literally cause a man to murder his entire family and commit suicide afterwards. Like damn. I can hand Idria to the inquisition, but not Cassia?

Actually, she is way too timid for a novator. But she on a right path

She's causing chaos and destruction just by existing and having no control over her powers.

She got this spacebase setup but it's all a trap for us to rescue her and kill them.

1 - she a mutant but one sanctioned by Big E, so Inq cannot tocuh her kind.
2 - LOL. You, RT, are the most useless part of a crew. Navigator and Engineseer can fly a ship without you or like 90% of the crew, but you cannot. And they both know it. Without a her, it does not matter if you have a warp drive or not.
3 - not really, how much she kills? Less than a hundred serfs. Think about it as fuel for the drive.

This is lore accurate, and Navigators are known the galaxy over for being weirdos of the highest order. Also, that incident is nothing compared to the great God-Emperor of Mankind - he eats 10,000 psykers a day. A. DAY.

I like that she's absolutely bats. She causes annoying problems for me to solve! Also, I dont know if the narrative railroads you into certain decisions, but it seems like there are opportunities to get a different navigator in Ch1 and Ch2. But since I kept Cassia and this is my first playthrough, I don't know if that'll pan out until my 2nd playthrough.

Following her extreme amount of mutations for young age & her side-quests - she's from Renegade House and that's entirely another can of worms.

How do you think - Lord-Inquisitor know truth about her Atlas or not? :steamhappy:

Following both books & RT table-top rules - she have too many mutations for a complete newbie.
