Hello sir,

I also have bitdefender, and it also detected "Trojan.MAC.Agent.ZP" in "F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader\WhRtModificationTemplate-release.rar"

Do not worry it's a false positive, it happens a lot when scanning archives, wich is why the option is turned off by default.

Hope that helps
Same here...never had such a problem but except of Rogue Trader it's the second time I think with a hopefully false positive...

have U forgotten that this winter another game was contaminated by a real virus?

yeah but it's not the case here mate, if the game was really contaminated by a virus, it would have been talked about in the review or on the internet like it was for the gamr you are mentionning, the only thing there is on roguetrader is false positive reports

Happened with me as well, and this has only happened with this game. Why does exactly this game set of bitdefender?

What was your answer as this just popped up again for the first time in a while for me on Bit Defender after having previously removed it months back and playing the game with no issue.. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Well i sent them a report with the game link and all the technical data i could find in the report about the file itself. While i did not have the file anymore, the support ensured me that they would still look at it. After getting an automated email about how they will remove it from detection in 72h i never heard them back :steamsalty:. If you still have this file you could either sen it to them or pass it in virustotal or intezer.

I can't believe all of you saying "it only gave me an alert with this game." Back when I used to use BD it gave me one all the time. Grim Dawn was the one I remember having the most problems with. I've tried them all since then and have settled on Kaspersky. Reasonable price, no automatic billing, and no false positives.
