how did you guys build jae?
im trying to make her pistol build work but her damage is just laughable untill she gets stacks even then cassia and my main char who is officer are better.
feel like i cant find a place for her in my party but i like her character so much. i even tryed respec her with toybox into soldier class to see if i could make pistol build work besides burst fires i feel like her hit rate is low even with cheated perception xd

She's got no place in my party.

If I need her later as an emergency replacement, depending on how the story unfolds, she's going all-in on ballistic / pistol.

The only thing I haven't decided is which pistol.

Fighty Master Tactician. Inspire, Lynchpin, Finish the Job. One rapid fire pistol (pretty much guaranteed to be some kind of Drukhari splinter pistol) in her offhand and the hardest-hitting handcannon you can find (something like a Drukhari blast pistol) in her primary.

Talent-wise, go for things that profit off of her hitting or killing stuff and some supporting abilities.

Is it an optimal build? Nope. Is it fun? Yes.

I made her my grand strategist
Stronghold and trench are so great for having the enemy come to you and not the other way around

I like her. Did a full respec for her. Officer - Master Tactician.

As an officer she’s one of the only useful combatants, as she can give her turn to Cassia.

Specced to killzone and free uses, so that Cassia can get sometimes get even more free kills. I think the “back-line” ability is supposed to be used on your own backline, but that’s silly. There is no backline. Or frontline. There is only Cassia.

Also she has really good skills, which is the best you can hope for even if she wasn’t an officer.

Why everyone is so thirsty for Cassia? Yes she is OP. And i hope she will be nerfed, same with arch militant. Doesnt it makes things quite boring to play with OP characters all the time. I use her sometimes, but often replace her for more gun oriented officer, like Jae. Dont see much point in having more than 1 officer. It gets boring fast.

I know that research shows winning the lottery would have a net negative impact on my happiness, but I’m still cashing in the ticket.

I don't get it either. I think everyone pumps her up and goes full damage with stare. I hardly every use stare and only use cassia as a buffer.

Jae is my only master strategist. I take her sometimes when I get bored of my main party. She's got dual blast pistols and a drukhari rifle. But i never attack with her.

No, officers are instead OP. She is easiest way to notice that as capable to convert extra stats from broken officer talent ("No Respite") into high damage.

I think cassia is mid AF unless your playing on easier difficulties lol.

I think prince charming is a more useful support phyker. I think the eldar companion is a better sniper.

My MC is an officer though, and i agree having 2 officers is lame, probably the main reason i dont run her more.

but cassia can deal 100s of damage aoe easyly. heinrix is cool and all but cassia is straight up god mode. iv wiped intire fights with a well placed stacked up lidless stare. you prob are not useing cassias stacks from her second skill tree.
