Aurora - well done Oulcat!
Very happy to see that they made the CSM a real challenge.

Too many 40K games make space marines (or worst yet, chaos space marines) seem like a "not-a-big-deal" type of enemy, just another speedbump...

They are supposed to be horror made manifest. A literal monster with hundreds if not thousands of years of combat experience. A being straight out of nightmare made flesh. The mere presence of - JUST ONE - of these THINGS should be a cataclysmic event to most any human fighting force.

Well done Oulcat, this old-hand 40K lore lover thanks you!

Argenta just walked in front of him and blew him away with a holy bolter.

I was annoyed that I couldn't loot his heavy bolter.

I killed him, I should be able to take a trophy.

I had Abulard hit him with a Thunder hammer - a lot.

I appreciate whenever Space Marines are being depicted as the ultrabadasses they're supposed to be in the background stories.

I particularly liked the main character in Dan Abnett's Iron Snakes book.

"Thank goodness you've arrived, noble, Space Marine, we are being raided by a horde of evil dark eldar!"

"No problem, just point me to where they are."

".....but when is the rest of your company coming?"

"Oh, they only sent me, won't need any more."

*proceedes to obliterate dark eldar raiding party single-handedly*

A thunder hammer? where did you get one?

The most ironic thing about Aurora is that he is a word bearer, the weakest thing you can find among the chaos space marines.

That just makes it better tbh.

Some boss on Footfall dropped it. I think it was one of the gangers burning people in the Shadow quarter.

I think there's one each as a colony project and a reputation trade item.

The wargear of my fallen foes is just more precious.

I guess he is asking how did you get an act 2 weapon in act 1?
I have the same question, because there is no thunderhammer in act 1 and Aurora is the endboss of act 1.

Yes she walked in front of him and did 20 damage to his 300 health, lmao.

Aurora is pretty weak though, I had more trouble with the sniper that supported him. I think I brought him down on the second turn with only Idira dying (because of the sniper who managed to dodge my shots).

When I saw the Chaos Space Marine I was expecting a really tough fight though, but all I got was severe disappointment.

They do a good job at making Space Marine powerful but not over the top like some 40k fans think they are.
