At what point did you tap out/ Stop playing/Lose Interest?
For me,
I hit Chapter 4 and even with the Toybox mod, a lot of stuff is stalling, not triggering or Quest-lines just seem to be out of sync.

I've had a personal issue with the lack of Quest markers and the Rat Catching quest made me just give up, its probably bugged and what I'm looking for isn't properly showing up, but I've put up with bugs and running around searching for some vague description long enough.

I love the combat most of all, I'll probably come back to it when they open up custom Campaigns or Skirmishes (Lawd Willing), but I'm done with how tedious its become to continue the quests that interest me.

The game hasn't broken me just yet, but I feel pretty close. The Aeldari sniper spam in Act IV's jungle planet came close, but my MC turns out to be an overpowered biomancy psyker that has that Sanguine Siphon thing, so can literally not die as long as he has stacks.

The game not being built with Ulfair in mind just walking around the map is the closest thing thing I think that will break, because it's just so bloody frustrating.

Chapter 2, 100 hours in, hasn't happened yet.

Act 3. I'm not a fan of losing all your stuff and being forced to wander around platforms.
Does it happen? Really? lol. Can you at least get your stuff back at some point or is it permanently lost?

It does happen, yes, and you can get your stuff back after a little bit.

You get trapped in Commorragh, all your gear is stripped away, and your companions scattered around and you need to find them again while enduring a couple of fights with whatever garbage you can pick up and the few companions you can find until you progress. Once you clear the first arena battle and get sent to the Anatomical Opera, the haemonculus running the place gives you your stuff back - mostly because he finds it disgustingly unsophisticated and doesn't want to have it cluttering his laboratory.

Thanks! Doesn't sound that super bad then. However, I guess it is a lot worse if you have very equipment dependent/specific build.

You're going to love this but I didn't get all my stuff back. I know right?

also there's no way when you get put into act 3 to stop autofiltering items into cargo, and the only items you're getting are old trashy ones you long ago set to autostore.

It's like nobody playtested this or fixed any of the issues in it.

You get it back, Quest Markers would have helped IMMENSELY in that chapter, it almost has a rogue-like feel, I actually liked it for the lore and battles..but yeah, if you're not expecting it, it can mess up your entire play-style, but you end up getting even better weapons if you look hard enough!

Haha :D Wondering if it was a bug, or if it is choice dependent then (hopefully the former as it will be potentially fixed at some point).

Pour one out for this poor fella.

It wasn't super fun even with my not-overly-specific build (bio/pyro melee psyker, Abelard as a Vanguard and Argenta as an Arch-Militant were the ones I was able to grab back onto the team before having to face the early fights), having to fight with meh-tier melee weapons and armor that was notably worse than my own collections, and a heavy stubber instead of her usual heavy bolter on Argenta. Doable, but a bit rough.

Does anyone know what could potentially not be given back?

I finished the game without too much trouble, bugged as it is. There are way less "classes" and abilities than in Pathfinder games, but a lot of things are still either broken or not implemented. I imagine they released it in this ♥♥♥♥ state in time for the holidays.

Chapter 5 is not that bad. There seems to be an optional necron lord fight that I don't think can be accessed without cheating.

chapter 4, every fight is crashing my game now cause of dmg calculation loop

I have a question/theory
Have you been using Toybox since the beginning, or only when stuff "broke" and you could not continue otherwise?
