I keep trying to raise my Hereticus Rank to Votary 3 but everytime I try to invoke him he says:

"I dont see a Future of you in my Ranks"


Is there something I am missing?

I have the Broken Sword and Chaos Shrine... but he keeps rejecting me?

You also need the Shard from the prologue

Have you proceeded the Heretical questline enough? You will need to know all three names and have had both sword parts. Including the hilt.

That third name never did come about. I wonder if I missed it somehow in a quest line or something I had to build on a colony. By the time i did that mission I knew I was behind since I could not do any of the heretical options, just shy of the needed amount. And even then, to get that option with the bird i needed to be full chaos line. I honestly wonder where I am supposed to go or do for that. I put in near three days of time, and I must redo everything since I clearly missed some things.

It did work for me. I had the choice of worshiping Edge of Daybreak, or have the sword fully reforged. Chances are you were short on the needed requirements to ally yourself with the daemon.
