40k TV Series with Henry Cavill!

Unfortunately its being made by Amazon so prepare to have literally every aspect of 40k horrifically ruined.

Henry's really awesome but unless he straps a bomb to his chest and forces the kindergarten quality writers to stick to the lore its going to be a complete disaster ala rangs of power or wheel of time... Remember how they (netflix) butchered the Witcher? All the good parts of that series were Henry's doing but I dont think even superman can stop this impending disaster haha

Not the proper forum for it but im curious what other peoples opinion are on this monkey paw wish?

Pretty sure, by definition, to be able to comprehend "woke" one has to be woke. Even if you pull a cypher and want to return to your non-woke state you are aware of the fact what entails the difference between the woke and non-woke state, which means even if you reject the new reality you will remain woke.

Also, given that nobody actually knows what woke means, other than "this set of ideas i don't like, and believe others "woke up to"", it's quite a pointless word.

As for 40k being woke: It always was. Saying otherwise betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of 40k.

it only needs to have good action. no warhammer games have a good story or writeing....... none perhaps one from 1990 or something but dawn of war and such are all action games with top tier visuals that hold up today. its about the power fantasy they better not have henry cavell talken every 5 seconds

Thats what worries me. Its a setting about the last days of humanity, galactic war and eternal troubles. Not modern american politics.

I cant shake the feeling of blue haired female space marines and the entire show being dedicated to racism or donald trump or something retarded.

Its like modern writers are really bad and can only write at a 3rd grade level so to hide that fact they hide behind modern political statements, claim their garbage is actually a woke masterpeace, smashing glass ceilings and bashing the fash and ending slavery. In reality they are just talentless hacks, devoid of any meaning or actual message so they default to whatever current thing is.

And please don't make this woke, civillains in Warhammer are a equal in that they are a commodity to be traded and have no rights. They are at the mercy/whims of their Bureaucracy leaders.

Also, no female space marines, the lore doesn't allow for it, if the lore DID allow for it, I would have no issue with it. But it would be incredibly out of place and forced if they all the sudden appeared in this show...

Those lefty tourists that have been targeting 40k for years, chomping at the bit to slather their bs american politics and religious dogma all over it just to ruin it like everything else they touch.

These people don't care about the setting, its rich lore and history. They just want to ♥♥♥♥ all over it and use it as a vehicle to push some preachy BS message that no one, other than themselves, care about. When they ruin the franchise they will move on to the next.

Ive seen so many things I enjoy ruined like this its not even funny. So far, only Warhammer has been able to really hold back the stupidity.

Honestly, if they weren't so devoid of talent it would be passable but these people are so horrible at everything they do its crazy. The complete and total inability to wright a believable character just blows my mind. Instead of making a good character they will have some 1 dimensional cardboard cutout with a ton of labels glued to them, those labels dont substitute bad writing.

Theres never any character growth with that type of stuff. Strong woman who beats up men and wins farting and beer guzzling competitions will be the exact same as she was when the story started, just a man reskined as a woman. Strong Woman characters shouldn't be men, they should be Strong Women.

I dont even want to think what these people would do to our beloved Sisters.
