40k TV Series with Henry Cavill!

Unfortunately its being made by Amazon so prepare to have literally every aspect of 40k horrifically ruined.

Henry's really awesome but unless he straps a bomb to his chest and forces the kindergarten quality writers to stick to the lore its going to be a complete disaster ala rangs of power or wheel of time... Remember how they (netflix) butchered the Witcher? All the good parts of that series were Henry's doing but I dont think even superman can stop this impending disaster haha

Not the proper forum for it but im curious what other peoples opinion are on this monkey paw wish?

I dunno I mean he bailed on Witcher because of that, I don't seem him staying on with 40k especially since he's a fan of it, if they butcher it.

I mean he's not just starring in it he's also producing it which gives him more power.

afaik Henry would have full controll and without his approval nothing could be edited or changed by Amazon. He stated on this and agreed to sign the contract only because of this. SO there is a hope.

Well, I guess tempered expectations. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than the opposite. The LotR show was "meh", so as long as this one is somewhat better, it can be watchable.

He is a director of the series. And what Amazon got to do with this? Amazon is a company, not a person who ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Halo. It has multiple great series.

I mean, 1/3 chance of catastrophic failure is still pretty bad but better than 2/3... idk, I dont trust GW with their recent butchering of the emperor so I guess we are still at 2/3.
