Cassia romance assistance

i'm romancing cassia in my playthrough and it has been solid so far however i got the event where she gets you a gift and you need to respond. i had the library sent to her as a gift and after a few jumps got a corresponding scene. however in her dialogue there is still the option to talk about the gift as though i haven't responded yet. is this a bug or do i need to do that dialogue to advance the romance?

I think its a bug, i never clicked on it and the plot advanced still.

Yeah, you can trigger the next part of the romance by giving her a gift through your servants or just talking with her about accepting. Both options lead to the Hand holding

Yeah if you follow her book on chivalry the correct response is to acknowledge her gift and hold her hand, though you can kiss it too (which is going a bit far and makes her embarrassed at your breach of etiquette) but seems to be an accepted romance response.

Buying her a gift is valid response (though not playing into her chivalry expectations)

So the option to talk about the gift not dissapearing - will this block the romance progression in any way? I'm a bit confused whether I should wait for a patch before gifting/handholding or I can just ignore the dialogue and continue playing.
