Are some achievements not working?

I just killed the daemon in the sewers in chap 1 for Cleening up the Tzeentch, but I did not get the achievement, it is a common bug?

A lot of achievements are buggy, some pop up when you did not achieve them some will not pop up when you get them but after you load a save when you got them they will pop up (sometimes).

the achievements "work".

in that you'll have them pop up like you got them although you actually didn't as it's just registering progress like dodge 500 times.

or you'll never see the pop until you save/reload or save/quit/load.

Steam pops up a gray version of the achievement each time you make progress toward completing it, in the case of achievements that require 500 of some thing to happen (like score 500 crits).

When you actually complete the achievement Steam will pop up a green version of it, to tell you that you earned it, and you'll never see either version of it pop up again.

Achievements are unpredictable.

I got a achievement about returning boots during the epilogue. Apparently it is supposed to trigger in chapter 3. Thing is I got it in chapter 5 and never returned any boots.

Guess what? Even when it does unlock in chapter 3 boots of any kind never make an appearance.
