Fellowship of the Void items for sale same in act 2 as in act 1?
In act 1 you can go to the lower right part of the star map, and talk to a void ship which turns out to be a "merchant ship" from The Fellowship of the Void.

Does anyone know if the items you can get there are the same ones you can get in act 2 when you find them again? Because if it's a new list, then it's definitely worth maxing out their rep in act 1 so you can get all the items, but if they're still available in act 2 I'm not in that much of a rush ;)

Thanks in advance for the help! :)

All items of all traders are always the same and the list expands when progressing in the game. You can't "max out" the individual traders early in the game - as you don't have the resources yet. Also your profit factor can't be raised enough to buy the items you unlocked. You need the mid-lategame colony building feature and trading contracts to get enough profit factor. (maximum needed is 150ish)

tl;dr: don't bother rushing it - it's a long-term minigame.

I dont know the answer to your question. What I do know is that its possible to get as much PF as you can, about 21'ish which will be enough to empty the two traders stock in act 1. Same with cargo items if you are smart with who you sell the high price items to.

conflicting answers here. can we get a conformation on if the items in act 1 will be there in act 2?

The act 1 items from the Fellowship will be no longer available, that is correct. This is on account of what happens at the end of Act 1. When you find the next fellowship trader, the list now skips to tier 3-4. The rest of the factions appear as normal, because they weren't present.

Yeah, I've sadly discovered the same as I just reached the merchant in act 2 :(

Really bummed, since I made this thread specifically to find out wether I needed to buy the items or not, and ended up not buying them based on the info I was given.
