Softlocked in Commoragh

I have 5 party members (Trader + Abelar + Argenta + Cassia + Irliet)
-- Found 3 quest items for dude in Opera.
-- Got my camp (enslaved snake xenos and Comissar)
-- Failed xenos lore check to find 4th item (chameleon skin)
-- Talked to Ulfar
Now i cant go to arena (portal isnt active), i cant talk to opera dude about freeing Ulfar.
No hardsaves to replay this sht of a location again
I spend about 5 hours wandering around and watching guides, i cant do anything
Pls help

For another xeno item you could go back to where Abelar was found..

Check behind him, there should be some guys above who you have to initiate dialogue with. That'll "activate" the arena.

Beyond the Chameleon Skin, you can get 2 Beast Claws from the first arena fight, you can also get quest items by getting medicae checks in certain areas; one is to the left side of Malice's plaform, another should appear around the chute to the dead body pit you started in. You also get an item from the "Scourge" in the chapter but I think it predominately appears after the 2nd fight.
