Boss fight difficulty (spoilers)
uralon on daring seems insane? i have 5/6 of my guys die before i get a turn most times, and even my tankiest character who up till this point has basicaly been immortal drops like nothing.

A burst fire will kill heinrix, and their charge attack does 130 dmg then they attack for another 140 dmg, and have a kick. whats up with this difficulty spike??? and they can attack multiple times too.

i'm not the same to feel this then !! too much attack my guys can't ressit that much of dmg + the kick ...

Same. Don't think it's doable without Cassia/AM meme builds or some serious savescumming.

I'm buffing most of my characters dodge to 208% and they still can't dodge ♥♥♥♥(and even if they could, CSMs do a hundred attacks per turn, almost guaranteed to overwhelm any amount of dodge).
My RT with 110+ armor and 200 something health gets double-tapped by either the flamer or the melee guy.
My psyker is unusable unless she can one-shot Uralon because the battle is at max veil degradation right from the start and proccing perils gives him(and therefore his entire posse) a free turn. There is also an enemy psyker, who, while flimsy, becomes invulnerable until his next turn when he reaches 1 hp, so he's guaranteed to dump at least one unavoidable AoE attack on your party.

I'm somehow expected to contend with all this ♥♥♥♥ when half my party doesn't even get a turn until the very end of the queue. Whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is responsible for the encounter design at Owlcat should have been sacked right after Kingmaker's disastrous launch but, alas, they're still being a blight on this world 5 years later.

edit: oh and I forgot to mention that unless you nail every skill check in the preceding text event you will have to fight this boss with a full-party debuff

edit2: the fight is likely bugged, I eventually tried it again without changing a thing and this time the enemy was dealing significantly less damage to me, my RT was able to withstand a full finest hour attack and I won after a few rounds. The next fight was obnoxious but much more reasonable.

Owlcat at it again designing fights only playtested by the sweatiest nerd, act 3 final boss was baby mode compared to the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this fight

Officer with free half turn at start solves a lot of hard fights.

Stack armor buffs (psyker+operative+strategist), 250-275% is enough for unfair uralon.

Not done this one on higher difficulties, but most unfair difficulty levels Owlcat has in their games can only be beaten with meme builds. Among other things, I would assume it is almost expected for you to have at least one grand strategist, and one or two people with seize the initiative so you will be guaranteed to go first and then add extra turns to your DPS/debuffers through those two characters if they are officers. There's several situations where if you do NOT go first, you won't survive.

bro that bird daybreak boss right after Uralon is way more aids. Uralon boss fight wasn't that bad for me since my guy and Yrliet were running one shot assassin builds. Bird fight was just annoying because all my main damage dealers is single target and the bird spawns scores of little guys.

Also anyone else find Ulfar just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless?

I had to lower the difficulty from Daring for that fight, because two or three people always died before they could move, with the rest following. On normal, the enemy died on turn two instead of me, which is sad, because otherwise, save for couple of nasty encounters, Daring has been the sweet spot for me in a way that no difficulty in previous Owlcat games was. Even then, with a few retries and a bit of luck, those encounters were either doable, or I could return for them later. The same wasn't true for that fight.

It's the hardest fight in the game, and you have to deal with birdo right after (which is almost just as hard with how tanky it is)

I got lucky with Argenta and Cassie early turn so I delete flamer and melee marine and the rest become more managable

I found bird way more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ than the first boss fight. Getting rid of his shield is annoying as ♥♥♥♥, and I can never get expose weakness in time when his shield is down. It was a pain.
