Spoiler Marazhai question

So I killed marazhai during my playthrough because I thought that either the big hulking space marine would curb stomp me if I did or heinrix would turn on me. Thus I'd like to know if there's any consequences for recruiting marazhai?

Honestly one of the worst characters in the game, as his entire introduction makes him extremely unlikable. So when we already have a full party, there is not real justification to recruit him.

Aside from the Sister of Battle, Tech-Priest, and Interrogator the rest of the companions are severely lacking in their character introductions. It all feels so forced.
