Argenta can do multiple times that to a single target, I find Cassia is better for killing mobs.
Get the skill that doubles rate of fire and +30% rate of fire passive and get her to max crit and +dmg on her heavy bolter and she can easily put out multiple thousands of dmg from a burst which she can do 2, 3, 4 times a round depending on how you build her with no ramp up like Cassia's ST damage.
Cassia is still nearly invincible though which has its own benefits.
Either accept playing with cheats and enjoy or avoid using more then one officer in party.
Single shot to burst? Yes, absolutely. Says so right on the Versatility tooltip.
Yeah, sorry I should have explained my thinking.
I get that bit, it's just I thought the core of Arch-Militant is supposed to be a unit that starts stacking buffs from mixing ranged + melee, not just from mixing firing modes.
If it's WAD, I'll get back in my box and shut up lol. :)
(And maybe I'll pick that instead of bounty hunter next time...)
Yes, Out of 16 shots at 80% hit chance she put 16 into the cover infront of the enemy.
Indeed - also, try the heavy flamer.
Thats rapid fire for you. Like the ability says, "all the shots follow random trajectories" - on the one hand this can be cool if you want to really cover the full area. But if you want all bullets to hit a single target, rapid fire is less idea unless the enemy is big enough to catch them anyway. Rapid fire is for clearing areas or "unmissable" big enemies, concentrated fire (or no ability) is for hitting a normal target with all those bullets...
Gotta say, i mostly use concentrated fire now for the arch-mlitant build. The 50+10*BS% damage bonus often means crazy amounts of extra damage - starting with +150%, but with enough versality and buffs that number can go way up. Combined with crit damage bonus from both soldier and vanguard talents, and buffs from other characters, and comraderie from soldier, it can get pretty crazy.
Not to mention the arch-militant talent that adds 2% armor per stack of versality, so if there are surviors, shooting back won't hurt much...^^
a) fix few broken Officer talents (that give much higher buffs values then mention in their tooltips).
b) do the same thing as most games do - similar buffs from allies do not stuck (with VERY few exceptions).
