act 5 is the worst. you have to lure them into torpedoes non stop; and the stupid 3 torpedo ability must be bugged.
i think i was able to use in like 3 combats the entire game it is always greyed out.
The one that keep spawning new waves every time you clean one?
That ♥♥♥♥ is not only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but also buggy as hell.
I managed to clean it by blowing up both ships in the same turn, which trigger the end of the fight (because there is no one enemies in the fight)... but then the enemies do spawn, under your victory screen. So I QUICKLY click okay and left before they start to attacking me, because they sure were playing their turn as normal.
Otherwise, you can ram those ships pretty effectively for one hit kills or kite with torpedos. Also, no shame coming back later once you have more ship levels / upgrades, this is a perfect fight to use some of the ultimate abilities. Any of them would help turn the tide (I really like Empyrean Storm for this fight).
Your point?
The Drukhari Missiles shred you even on Normal and Daring. They're overtuned. It's literally no secret they're overtuned. And when you have 6 of those ships who open up with Missiles you get screwed over, not to forget the Drukhari ships have more movement than you.
This battle is totally unbalanced, was the only time in Act2 that I had to lower difficulty, made it in Story diff very quickly after 5 attempts at Daring lol
git gud
Because Owlcat made the battle way easier with the last major patch. It's now like 1/3 what it was before.
So take your 'git gud' and shove it where the sun dosen't shine.
I guess I got lucky, and luck IS a skill.
Only if one has to compensate of other things lacking.
