Can you explain how you went through all the dialogues? I also have no xenos in my playthrough and I could use some help nailing this quest since it seems like the most common answer to this is to have Yrilet with you...
I tried all the things people were talking about and nothing worked. So what I did was to bring Yrliet and Heinrix with me.
My rogue trader is only good with FEL skills, so I wasnt able to pass some checks in this quest. But by bringing Heinrix and Yrliet with me, they were able to pass those checks.
So my team was: My MC, Abelard, Cassica, Yrliet, Heinrix and the Dark Eldar.
I followed these steps.
1. Check the bodies outside and find the note.
2. Talk to all the aristocrats. If you have the xenos companions with you one of them will be racist about it. Call him out (You may have to pass a passive check)
3. Go to the entrance and talk to the suspicious guy and pass the checks (dont worry if you fail, Heinrix and Yrliet will help you out)
4. Use Heinrix to get the son of the governor to confess his mistake and make him show the place where he met his accomplice.
5. Use all those clues to question the nobles. Be sure to exhaust all the dialogue tree options.
6. When is time to make your accusation, choose both options where you accuse the right family and pass the skill check. (Abelard will mention the guilty one is clear)
I wasnt able to get best outcome without using the xenos companions. But If your character is able to pass all skill checks perhaps that will be enough.
Did the same, just no Henrix in my party, and it bugs out. Maybe Henrix is the key to it.
They should just fix this ♥♥♥♥ that was reported weeks ago though.
1. After Vicent directs you to Halen Gaprak, and you discover Halen Gaprak is dead, you *must* take note of the injection marks on his neck. This can happen if you pass the Awareness check, have Pasqal in your party, or have Yrliet in your party.
2. When talking to Cornelius Drivestem, you must compel him to confess his error. This can happen if you pass the coercion check, or if you have Heinrix in the party and choose the Inquisitor dialogue.
3. After those first two steps, you must ask the drivestems about Marcharius Saurback, and have the lady lead you to the bench where an easy Awareness check will occur.
If you don't complete steps two and three, then you will not have the option to ask the Seneschal to take it from here. If you complete steps two and three, but failed step one, then you will have the option but the quest will bug out when you select it. Only by completing all three of these steps will the quest execute correctly.
Selecting the option for the Seneschal to take it from here is the *only* way to uncover the true culprit. All other options will not reveal the person truly responsible, even the one where you condemn a certain family because they always disrespected you.
