What ability lets you shoot in melee

I respected and i cant find the ability again, and its killing me, any one know the name of this talent.

Specifically with a pistol. Is that skill close quarters training? Because the tool tip only says 2h weapon.

you don't need a talent to shoot into melee with a pistol or shotgun

So i have a blaster pistol, but i cant use in in melee, is that something unique to some weapons? is there a tool tip that denotes if a weapons that is 1 handed CANT be used in close combat?

As has been mentioned, close range guns like pistols or shotguns can shoot into melee without additional talents. For other firearms, you need Close Quarters Training, which would be available to Arch Militants.

Ok then its a bug, because im using, or rather trying to, use the desolation blast pistol, and aldari pistol that is labled as a one-handed ranged weapon, and its saying cant use that in melee.

I think there is also an ability called "get off me" allowing Avelard to shoot into melee.

Yeah i know that one pertains to his brace for impact ability though
