I think the debuffs can be removed via talking to the monstrous Drukhari in exchange for something of similar value in chapter 3. But I haven't tried this myself.
You can heal Abelard by talking to Tarventias (the crazy weird Frankenstein Drukhari doctor) in exchange for unique bodyparts that can be found in several places in Commorragh.
You can heal Pasqal by returning to the lower levels (where you originally find The Commisar) and defeating the Chronos(?) or sth beast. Difficult fight tho, i recommend doing it after freeing Ulfar and having your gear back.
After the fight theres a dialog with Pasqal after which his debuff was gone for me.
You have to be very meticulous playing that area, some things are not obvious whatsoever. I for example used all the body parts i had to heal me and click through all the other dialog options and donating some - then had to reload a 1h save because i needed one part to buy Ulfars freedom to accompany me :/ almost missed him as companion, lol.
Ok I just retried the Chronos fight, then Pasqal unfortunately fell for me, but later at the dialogue, I chose the "purge" option. So it's either him dying or choosing purge that did the trick.
For me the debuff went away on it's own after he recieved a trauma later in act 3 in a fight unrelated to the Chronos, so I think it was the dying that fixed it. Which is probably another bug but I'll take it, saves me from having to download toybox.
What worse is while speaking to Abelard during downtime in chapter 3 he speaks about rejuvenant treatments so I figured id just have to suffer with it until we got off the ship. Once back on the ship he goes "hell yea, boss. Rejuv kicked that ♥♥♥♥ right outta me and I feel great. Ready to beat some ass." and hes still got stolen time. Really frustrating.
Got him downed again in the fight on my way to what's presumably the final arena fight and he's better now. Hope this helps
Pasqal has no comments about his condition.
But when I talk to Abelard, I could ask him a question "Have the healers done their job?" And he said that he recovered from ills of old age. I think maybe this debuff shouldn't be on him? Is it a bug?
When I talked to Tarventias I haven't seen any options to heal my companions. I found a lot of monster parts and gave them to him, but there was no mention of healing Pasqal or Abelard.
Is it possible to heal them in Act 4?
