Are there Hotshot Lasguns?

So far my guy is just a sniper but I was hoping to deck him out like a Scion and just spew endless volleys of lasers.

Yes. It's a pretty good weapon too compared to what you have available at the time.

hotshot and longlas are both in, as well as some other las options, so all your flashlight needs are accounted for ;)

I found the hotshot lasgun, laspistol and unique lasgun sworn protector.

They are better than standard bolter though better variants edge out and i havent found upgraded hellgun yet.

I wondered if the Ghost Lasgun was supposed to be a reference to Gaunts Ghosts.

Hotshot Lasgun is definitely one of the crazier weapons available in act 2. 40% AP, plus dodge and hit bonuses on a burst fire weapon. Yeah the base damage isn't amazing but there are plenty of ways to improve your damage.

I really like it alongside the las sniper rifle with my Arch-Militant Argenta so she can build Versatility every turn.

I did find a netting cape that decreases enemy dodge on ranged attacks. Seemed like obvious nod to Gaunt. 😉

Besides the hot shot, I also found an assault lasgun that reduces enemy armor deflection on hit. It kicks ass.

There are, but compared to the TTRPG the Hellguns suck.

longlas is awesome, I hope they added some unique options and different patterns.
