There was the option to exit the conversation because you have other things to do in the "system", but that feels a little vague to me.
I suspect judging on the info the prison platform allows to get onto your ship the heir of the Janus noble family, which you can overthrow when you get there.
Although there are others options, it’s not a catastrophy to miss it (I did it since, not a big deal not having the heir).
Only the loot in that prison could be useful maybe.
Too bad, that will be for next playthrough then…
But yeah there could have been a warning to launch the triumph only when you are done on the system, easily trapped there.
