Maybe you looted before or fail the perception check.
1. did you get to the fireborn bridge to discover the secret?
2. Did you reach the upper portion of the Kiava map (near the location where you fight the corrupted fabricator Censor)? Did you pass a bridge that is only opened using the password found in the fireborn bridge?
3. There is another cache(different than this one) about the secret locations on your personal cognitor that is linked to something that will open the ability to do the secret ending. That is not it.

Don't know what you mean, I went back to kiava late in the game to get this rumor, went across the new bridge, nothing in the room

For more clarification, somewhat cannibalizing an old post of mine from June because i was too lazy to look up some things lol:

The "key" to lowering the bridge is from one of the three systems just north Orsellio's Prophecy system on the way to Kiava Gamma. In one of them (Edit: It's the Agatha's Archides System) is the derelict voidship you will find out is called the Fireborn. It is a storybook adventure in which you have 3 squads salvage what they can on the hulk. In order to unlock the cache info for Kiava Gamma (and lower the platform there), you need to as RT, accompany the squad going to the Fireborn bridge and pass the checks thereon (I suggest trying to pass every check that comes up, and not to punish the guy that makes a joke or at least until later for more loots). Anyways if successful on the cache front, you should unlock a message from the Captain about how Kiava Gamma fell and anyone reading the message should try to salvage their family relics, giving the passcode by extension.

Then on Kiava Gamma there's an area just near the Space Marine boss encounter to the west/left with two sets of stairs leading down to it. One set of stairs is trapped and the other one is blockaded (can be blown up by the nearby barrel allowing for you to safely disarm the trap from behind Edit: Well it used to be possible in Beta I couldn't do it after release lol).

Just down the stairs that were blockaded and also just to the lower right/southeast of the "This large device is a cargo lift used for transporting parts" inspection interaction, is the computer terminal needed to lower the platform. When you hover over it a ? on the normal cursor appears (unlike other terminals/objects with with the inspection interaction circle (Edit: Not sure this is true anymore since this was what I observed in the Beta). Click the terminal there and the access code will work and the bridge will lower to the Family Relics of the Fireborn captain. May the Captain's and the crew's souls rest in peace... *sells relics*

Something like a lot of Holy Relics and maybe an equipment item or two can't remember.

Since Drusians is one of the two factions you can't max out with farming Janus productions (the other being Pirate rep because neither accepts Mechanicus Creations or whatever they are), it's probably worth it for the extra rep cargo if it is indeed Holy Relics.

It took me a little bit but if you go past the rotating bridge up in the top center area of the map, you'll find the cargo elevator.
If you have the codes go to the right of the platform and there will be a cogitator to interact with. Once the codes enter a platform depends and you can cross it.
Items of Interest:
Flamer Digi-Weapon (ring)
Master-Crafted Power Maul
Assorted cargo items.

I hope this one gets noticed this was annoying to find on my own.

There's a cogitator that lowers a bridge. You can NOT access this cogitator without the Rumor, because you need the dead capitain's access codes.

This lowers a bridge with a room full of loot. Rumour seems to be bugged as it won't clear.

For those talking about the room on the far east of the map near the Chaos Marine, that's the "Classified Information Quest" you get from the bridge. The rumour is from a derilect ship you discover while wandering in space.
