whats the highest level you can get to before chapter 1 boss? no cheating plz.

on my current run I'm play through on insanity as a psyker and made it to level 15 before fighting the chapter 1 boss. my previous run was a level 14 officer on easy but i lost that data.

for the current run i didnt fail a single skill test, took the heretic path on the burning bridge, and found 2 new things i didnt the first time. the actual fight with the boss pushed me almost all the way to level 17 so it is possible to go into chapter 2 with your 2nd class unlocked.

this made me curious, is it possible to get the 2nd class, without cheating, before fighting the boss?

I was Level 15 (close to level up) at the boss. Defeating him took me to level 16
