"unknown mechanism" in the atrium? where is it ? what is it ? how ro find it in map and in journal ?

If you're referring to the archeotype mechanisms or whatever that you find around the expanse, I think it showing it on the world map of footfall under atrium is a bug, cause after finding 3 or 4 more pieces around the expanse in different systems, the tech priests put the pieces together and make a compass which will point you to a certain system where you'll find a crashed ship. That will resolve the rumor from your journal.

How thoughtful of Owlcat. I guess they must have known that in my limited free time I would enjoy checking every nook and cranny of the atrium for absolutely no reason. I love Owlcat and their games, but I'm grumpy today and am not above calling them out for this mistake.

Incorrectly placed quest markers are incorrectly placed, or something like that....

So I THINK this is in regards to that scavenger hunt quest where each cache on footfall is a note sending you to another cache.

This one specifically is on the religious altar immediately to the left as you out of the governor mansion, with your back to the door. There's a bunch of people praying near an altar and there's a cache with a note on the side of the altar. Very slim and easy to miss. Highlight and look carefully.

Unfortunately, it's separate. I just cleared out that quest, but "Unknown mechanism" is still appearing as a quest that's available on the map on Footfall.
