Drifting Voidship Heretical choices

SPOILERS AHEAD!!


So Ive made my way through the drifting voidship, and absolutely splattered the forgefiend. What I wanna know is, as Im playing a heretical runthrough, should I let the daemon in the forgefiend possess my ship? seems like a bad idea but thats most of the fun here, and dont wanna miss out on the forgefiend fight itself. anyone got any experience with picking this option?

dunno, save before the choice and then see what happens and if you like the outcome!

i did that and you just skip out on the fight with the forgefiend, I wanted to know if anything came of it later in the game. the other option is to dual with it which is still heretical, I judt dont wanna miss out on the experience for the fight and have nothing happen

I let everything heretic related on my ship and now when there are fights while warp traveling i get an option to let the forge engine burn everything that boards the ship. Idk if its heretic related or i picked something else but there is that.

I did that as well. However, the creature only shows up when I tamed one on the tech priest planet that can be a colony, Kiava. In the last fight of the level there is an option to make one come to my side. As for the one from the void ship, I have not come across an incident when that one in particular did anything. I also wondered if I missed something since I didn't get an update that the mission was done.
