Not everyone uses it, that's for sure! I hope it makes a return though, despite not really thinking it will.
Fingers crossed!
Chapter is a lvl up simulator first time around though.
I agree whole hardheartedly, fingers crossed it is patched in one day soon
With everyone except maybe Abelard and Jae, I almost always level them from the bottom stuff unique to them first before the archetype stuff. By leaning into what makes them different than the player, it makes the player's character feel more unique/valuable.
Yeah I don't disagree, shouldn't remove the option to manually level everything if you want to, just be good to have the auto level function for us that like it
In a RPG?
I don’t know what the state of Rogue Trader leveling guides is these days, but you could see if anybody has some good companion guides out there.
It's not about time; It's about story.
The NPC's are designed with a story and personality. Their leveling should be 'theirs', not up to you; they are NPC's, not secondary PC's.
I disagree. Not with having an autolevel scheme, (thats fine) but with not having any choices at all in it.
Because any really worthwile RPG I'll want to do multiple playthroughs. So its great if I can come up with an entirely different build for each companion to really make that playthrough different.
Either way their leveling choices don't impact their story at all really.
