Convincing Governor Medineh
Can someone give me a clue on what I missed? I've taken care of the cannon, I was in the warehouse under the Canon and took care of the cultists and got some information, I've been in the sewers but all that always leads to him being pissed. Do I have to travel to the cenobium first or did I miss something?

What exactly are you referring to?
I did the exact same and then made him pay me recompense :D You can only travel to the Cenobium after you speak to him.

What is he pissed about and what dialogue options are you picking?

There is a dialogue option to tell him that the defense against the uprising is far from optimal. Here you can tell him everything you've found out like that the traitors tapped into the vox and such. But after that he's just pissed, no matter what. It seems like you should be able to convince him to adapt, but it always turns into him being pissed and that's all, seems quite anticlimactic

Guy is clearly a heretic, convince him with a heavy flamer. The Emperor wants you to.

Looked like he's just incompetent so far. Not even stupid, just incompetent

There is a terminal in the governor's room you can check for some information if you have not. Otherwise you have done all and unless there are some mandatory options you must choose it should work.

so there is another outcome than him being pissed because I tried to give him lectures about the situation and him stopping any further discussion about it?

It looks like you failed a social test. I told him that his handling of the situation was bad and it was not under control, then told him to which extent, and he said "my bad, i thought it was mere unorganized rabble malcontent"

hmm strange, as the only test there was is the one for my crew replenishment, and one of my dudes is basically the "negotiator", maybe ive missed something or its bugged

is it possible that I have a missing line, as there is no talk about the demon in the sewers that you can slay?
G Willikers Dec 12, 2023 @ 3:57am
I didn’t do a sewer level. Don’t recall what convinced him but I also got the line about it being more than disorganized rabble. Maybe there’s a broken script if you do too much before meeting him? I pretty much beelined for the bunker after getting the navigator then went off to do everything

Well, for all it's worth the order for me was destroy the rocket battery, hack the terminal for info, accuse the governor of failing to manage the situation (he tells you it's not enough to convince him), kill the cultists in the basement and check their terminal for messages, then tell him that I already know more about this planet then him. That completes it sucessfully.

strange. I did everything else before meeting him. mentioned everything about the cultists, the tapped vox, about aurora and the blinded people and then could choose the "i know more than you, just leave the bunker from time to time" option but its the same as if i just tell him he the first big textwall answer where hes just raging about keeping my nose out of his job

did you already go to the Cenobium or what it is called?

because after fighting through the streets to the command centre, your next step should be to go to the Cenobium. There should be dialogue for this, especially because the tech priest wants to go - did you find him?
fluppi Dec 13, 2023 @ 12:20am
I have the techpriest with me and have been going there now. I tried to delay the conversation about the rebellion to after my visit at the cenobium. It turns out, if I don't talk about the rebellion with medineh after first visiting him and activating the cenobium questline, the quest about finding out whats going on will be marked as failed. I guess its bugged out
