Any consequence to killing Evayne Winterscale?

I didn't notice any immediate effect from killing him, still got the same XP and +3 profit from the battle with the warden. Cassia didn't seem to care. Nabbed a Stubbed Carbine and Improved Bodyglove from Evayne's corpse. Wonder if I should leave it at that or if killing him has some notable detrimental effect later on?

So far I've been doing all optional fights (killed both Felek and Theobald on Eurec V, killed the rioters on my ship) and executions (executed the ordnance officer for questioning my authority). I'm playing a heretic and RP these acts as sacrifices.

I think its a 'can' show up later. At least, he didn't for me I think, so it might depend on your other choices still.

I only met the one Winterscale fella at the beginning, I killed the prison warden and he said "Thanks for your help, I'll see you on your ship for and important discussion" then he never showed up on my ship and I never saw him again. And apparently they're my enemies now because I have a bunch of "contracts" that are "Pay them 12 people as an apology for doing something or another"
