Edit: Tested all the options and all of them will successfully progress the romance. However neither the weapon, the jewelry, or the ship had any noticeable effect that I could find, outside of a slightly different comment made by Jae after engaging in fun time. I was particularly disappointed that the ship didn't add a new craft to my fleet for space combat :(
I have not tested if Yrilet has any gift suggestions though as I haven't gotten her just yet.
She's really a 'bigger and more extravagant the better' kind of girl.
I was going to give her a ship, since that sounded like something actually useful to her as a trader. But then she spray painted on my command deck and all she got was yelled at.
the friendly npc ship is from a T2 colony project in dragonus.
All 5 options will advanced the romance.
Some options are locked until you speak to the right ppl on the bridge.
Dress: she looks prettier than ever, so clearly the best gift!!!!
Jewels: she gets a wearable gem that gives some semi-decent skill bonuses (if you don't use Jae in combat, I guess she could wear it, but it's not THAT good, honestly).
Guns: she gets a nice laspistol (but probly not good enough to actually use)
Ship: all colonies get the "Princess of Efreet" clipper ship feature, which AFAIK does nothing mechanically
Colony: one of the planets in the Dargonus system gets a new clickable location (Jae's colony), which gives PF +1
IIRC the colony also gets named Princess of Efreet.
Cassia makes a super cute interjection in which she reveals that she LITERALLY thinks Jae is a princess from Efreet. That put a smile on my face.
She's the youngest of a large, powerful efreet family and, having no hopes for inheritance, she decided to use their administratum/trade connections to smuggle herself off-planet before her family could barter her off in a political marriage.
Her family might not claim a specifically-royal title, but they're definitely nobles/aristocracy and probably more powerful than any of the (petty) kings here on pre-imperium Terra ever were.
A rose by any other name...
The things we do for love...
You're technically correct... the best kind of correct! <3
No matter what you give her, they're all named 'Princess of Efreet'.
