Is there a way to change clothes later?
I hate the Psycher clothing you start with. Does not fit with the character I am going for at all. I can't find information on if your origin outfit is set for the entire game. If it is that ruins the entire game for me tbh.

I noticed that the clothes you wear and equipment do show on your characters. Which I really like.

So far I am stuck in these robes forever no matter which armor I put on. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3110819482

A) your armor clearly shows on the avatar,
B) if you put on a helmet, it will show instead of the hood,
C) you can turn off the hood in the appearance settings,
D) you will find full body armor that changes appearance completely.

Thanks, still wish I could choose the base clothes rather than be forced to use the robes. Glad at least eventually I can find a full body armor.

It's all because of these dresses and coats that still look like dresses on the model. Trans culture is everywhere . No matter what armor you put on, it won't change everything

This look is due to ToyBox. And the fact that my character is without any clothes

You're a space wizard, of course you have robes.

Yes in 40k formal clothes for males (especially adeptus) are robes. To push the fact they are also priests.
Pascal have robes because he is a priest.
Psyker have robes because mages have robes.
Most of Admin have formal robes because they are also priests. Unnofficially.
The Eclesiarchy have robes because they are priests.
And the nobility and the rich can have formal robes because most of the high people in the IOM state aparatus have robes. And it become acceptable to have robes even for men. But not everytime. As you see a lot of different men clothes than dresses outside of sanction psyker/priests.

It has nothing to do with "trans culture".

How come Heinrix as a sanctioned psyker gets to wear something other than robes? I want to be a warrior psyker. I think your clothes should be more to do with your archetype than with your origin.

He is also adept at infiltration as Inquisitor acolyte. And a spy. They can wear whatever they want. I doubt that combat psykers wear only robes(besides armor) but casual wear for psykers are robes. Because most sanctioned psykers are under monastery level regimen for most of their lives. Also Astartes psykers(both IOM/Chaos) if they don't wear helmet wear cowls by default. Normally psykers are expected by all to wear robes and cowls by the general 40k IOM population. Think of that as a psyker uniform and a way to identify at a glance that person is a psyker.
And Henrix is probably accustomed to wear whatever it is needed for the job and afforded the luxury of wearing normal clothes in private. Because Inquisition.
You also don't see Idira wearing robes.

I also would like to have options here. Something less busy
Pixie1001 5/jan./2024 às 8:05
Yeah, I think the psyker clothes are a particular sore spot since it's such a broad background - there's a ton of jobs a psyker might have that don't involve wearing a formal robe.

Hopefully the character appearance editor mod from WoTR comes back for Rogue Trader - otherwise, I think it might be possible to edit using Toybox by messing around with the traits?

Its just like pathfinder in that you can't change the 'under outfit' without a mod.

All companions have unique outfits so they don't look the same as the player.

I am not saying I want the same outfits as the companions just saying it sucks he gets to look cool and I don't.

I would like my character to have a simple guardsman uniform or a simple Navy uniform like the NPC on my ship
