Who tested final fight at Act I?
Plaing on impossible... It was nice and funny (most bosses needed proper tactic and it was good)

But...

Who was that bright and smart persons, who told "Yes, it can be finished" with damn Aurora moving 1st (and you cann't debuff him)... Ok, you can try to swarm him (and somehow survive his salvo and kick-kill melee, if you got proper MC build)... But sniper? Who was this SICK ♥♥♥♥ who added one-shot sniper, who you cann't counter? Even if you got longlas - you cann't make a crit to kill him...

Just what persons earned their money by "testing" it?

You cann't position your troops properly, you cann't debuff properly, you cann't buff, cann't counter...

Whole fight is a pure mess...

I managed it with two melees, Abelard and Inquisitor with endure. Mad dashed Abelard to the sniper. Use max range movement and then use charge to get even further. Inquisitor tanked Aurora for me. I only ate one burst from his heavy bolter, survived that one. MC is on a Bolter, I simply dumped burst into Aurora every turn. Use the psykers on Aurora because their damage isn't reduced. Lost only Argenta in the fight because I moved her out of cover for a flaming and the sniper one-tab crit her before Abelard finished the job. Try to position yourself on a line between enemies. Often they burstfire you and hit most of their comrades as well/instead.

For me, the fight was fairly easy. My party composition was 3 melee guys (Heinrix, Pasqual, Cassia) , two snipers (main & Idira), flame bolter (Argenta).

The 3 melees surrounded Aurora, the flame bolter burned down all the foot soldiers, my main character sniped the enemy sniper / commander on his turret and Idira stunned two of my melees while she tried to buff them :steamfacepalm:

Nevertheless, Argenta did her job (shame the enemies don't panic - would've been the perfect opportunity as they (8) stood no chance against a single Sister of Battle) and Pasqla roflstomped Aurora down from 100% to 30% wounds by using his ultimate & power axe. (Cassia helped with one additional free action to get Aurora down even further).

In the second phase the scripted destruction of the first shuttle couldn't be prevented - but then Aurora came in the area Argenta was guarding. She switched from flamer to bolter and chewed the last 20% of the heretic. The last single shot from her bolter brought him down. Pure awesomeness.

No... I complaining, that it's stupid

Hard was monastery, where you got timer and had to move forward and watch for enemy shooting down you party

Hard was tzeentch fight, where you had to kill every enemy and neutral so you can get to spawn

Hell, I even did underhive lens fight (got 2 chaos spawns and 2 tzeentch voidling spawned)... And it was hard, long and epic

But this fight is just stupid... No place to maneuver, no time to react, enemy main damage is a sniper who is too far and too fat (on this difficulty)

And bad game decision to get this fight after* you have to do an unskippable dialogue and cutscene... Hell, if can save between the dialogue/scene and a fight (like boss is on the next area) you can at least save time between the tries and maybe experiment with positioning

Bad fight, bad decision with pre-fight events

Again, everything* (and I mean it, everything.... trust me as PathFinder 1 and 2 player) was great on this difficulty...

It's just stupid

Hehehe, it was expected. It's Owlcat game - Unfair is really Unfair and need to abuse everything in game mechanic. Get gud.
This, owlcat cant balance a game to save their life.
House at the end of time is the example

Aurora is not that hard though, As mentioned Spam him with debuffs and have your tank draw his attention.

number 1 thing though is have one of your party members B line to kill the sniper in the upper part of the map.

Or just bring snipers on your own - in fact I'd recommend to at least one member wielding the Longlas / having it as a spare weapon. My main group sat at the low cover in the starting area of the fight - and my sniper assigned to the enemy sniper could shoot him from there.

Playing on hard, the fight was actual annoying. The problem isn't the fight itself - which was challenging, but all right - but the very first round. You place your characters and then the boss moves and kills 1-3 of them, with nothing one can do about it. Bonuspoints for the sniper, who got lucky and scored a 50+ damage crit on my main character right after the boss blasted everyone else to hell and back.
I simply reloaded a couple of times until the boss got unlucky and didn't manage to kill anyone in round one. After that the fight was doable without too much of a hassle, because I could actual DO something to make sure my characters survive.

All is needed is just to remove sniper and make auto-save right in the start of the battle...

So you can save scum untill 6 people survive burst (by some luck and proper positioning) and try it smart... But not with wasted time before each try and damn sniper killing your members every turn before they can act

You could lower the difficulty

Hate this fight!! I play on normal, but this boss made me to use f5\f6 superpower.

TBH, pascal with a lang las and making him a bounty hunter is HILARIOUS. If you combo him with Cassia as a grand statagist, give her the ability to make the backline reduce the ap cost of ranged attacks by one, you can spend 4 AP buffing your self and debuffing the target.
And then shoot him for free.

The other good thing for him his make pascal an assassin. Either way he makes a KILLER sniper.
