Can't complete "Kill all the Heretics"

Saved Abel, killed the "boss", don't know what else to do in the Electodynamic Cenobium to finish this subquest?

same here, I assume this only completes when you go with the plan to use some map gimmick to kill the enemies, I don't know, I just killed everyone in normal battle. This leaves the guys cheering in the back alive :D. the objective is marked as failed upon completing the overall quest.

Happened to me as well. I killed them without doing any disguise, if this makes the quest fail it should be warned somehow (I reported it as a bug).

Had the same, and yeah I didn't disguise my team. But it turned out to be fine, it failed but the story continued and you get +income.
But I hope they'll fix it, to either compete in an alternative way or keep the ability to fry heretics alive.

I recruited the inquisitor and add him to the party, but he never told me about any secret room (more bugs?).

If you don't disguise yourself of course you will be able to trigger the fight when you reach Abel. Also the quest or portion should be known as kill the heretics sneakily.

you got lucky, this is where my game became uncompleteable. i used 6 hours running back and forth finding everything, but the missions wont complete.

basically have to restart and hope it doesnt bug out again. i have no recent quick or autosaves close enough to the bugpoint either.

I had the same issue, killed all the heretics in a frontal assault and the quest was tagged as not completed. But I have found Abel in the mothership, he's with Pasqal, I could start a discussion with him so he finally survived and he's onboard. Try to find him there.

The map isnt complete when you rescue Abel, you have to unlock the secret room by entering the right combination of prayer phrases into the cogitator and then the real boss fights in the reactor room.
