Commissar build
What's a good commissar build? I am guessing officer would be the answer, but i am more inclined towards dps (soldier).

Is this viable, or do i lose buffs from the origin this way?

Why would you lose anything from the Origin? It's completely separate from the Archetypes. Play what you want, a friend is doing a Warrior Commissar and loving it; he just "leads from the front".

What i meant is if then i will have useless features, since it seems like commander is thought to be a support class. Anyway, i went with soldier to go into master tactician

Well, a commissar would be more of a support than a dps anyway. It depends on how you want to approach the lore.

I'm playing a officer commissar and the buffs you can dish out are insane and very powerful. You won't kill much tourself but your companions will shred everything on the screen. It's very lore accurate and alot of fun.

I’m also doing an Officer Build. I have equipped him with a LongLas as well. I try to find somewhere in the middle of the battle and shoot/buff from there. It’s working well so far.
