Game shuts down my computer
Why is this game shutting down my entire computer after playing some time? It does not happen in any other game. Cyberpunk with limited ray tracing, dwarf fortress, Ixion, Total War: Warhammer 3 etc works fine.

I have never encountered problem like this. Computer does not freeze or anything. It just shut down normally like when i turn power off from windows.

Your GPU overheats, Unity problems. Try enabling FSR, I know, makes no sense. Just do it and report back. Also, watch your temperature.

Vsync, frame limiter and so on gets ignored by the game.

So glad i caught this comment, was about to buy it... Guess i have to wait till this gets fixed, though i read a LOT of general overheating issues with Unity engine. So might be unfixable..... just makes you wonder why companies keep using it...

No help :( Temperature was 61 celsius which is very low when i play games and pc shut itself down. That FSR bought about 30min more play time but it might be accident.

I try this next. If it does not help i hope steam refunds this game even if i have played it about 4-5h.

Hello, just saw this thread. Does it run smoothly if the Auto-Save feature is enabled, with the other 2 being disabled, I mean it's very useful, sometimes i Just forget to save ... I would love to keep it on at all times...

To me disabling all. Data to devs and autosave were key. Turn either on and game shuts down my computer. I have no temperature problem at all. Game runs warm, but not hot.

OMG, I cant believe this. I thought i have the overheating GPU issue with this game (3090Ti) and used to play the game in lower resolution just to be able to play without computer crashing and restarting when playing this game (this is the only game that does it for me and i play A LOT of demanding games).

Now i used the tips from this topic and the problem is GONE. I can play in 4k again with no overheating and crashes. THANK YOU all who responded here, and NO THANK YOU to the devs who claim the crashing issues are due to overheating and refuse to assist apart from saying to clean the GPU.

98/99% are fine and dont have a problem but you swerve away due to this post? :steamfacepalm:

Here is a suggestion, try it. If you are one of the really unlucky people, refund it until fixed?

Where's the option to send saves to the developers? I'm having this same problem, and I turned off autosave and the save to cloud but can't find the other option. With those two turned off, it still crashed my PC. :(

Sorry for nercroing this thread but im getting this issue with the game. Temps totally stable across the board, even during stress tests no issue, but I've sometimes play this game for 5 minutes and it will shut my whole PC off (despite temps all being good, GPU around 60 degrees) it makes no sense.

No issues with any other games, I've tried a fresh install of graphic drivers. I'll try disabling the autosave to see if that resolves it... but really frustrated with this issue!
