I would assume no, because you're not a space marine.

You get companions with power armours, though.

Personally, I think it's a miss by the devs. Canonically there exists power armor for people who aren't space marines, so the player should be able to get PA proficiency and find some PA to wear. Particularly, Chaos Marine armor would have been sick.

EDIT: Apparently I stand corrected, as some new info recently dropped about supposedly a possibility of power armor existing for the protagonist:

There's a talent to allow you to equip Power Armor, so I would assume so.

Is that a talent your character can learn, or is it NPC-only though?

Some inquisitiers had specially made power armour and even terminator quoting from the books I have read. Dan Abnet Hereticus is one with terminator armour.

You can learn it. There's a Strength requirement before it's available I believe but it's in the list for my main character.

Obviously the power armour available to regular humans differs from Space Marine armour but you can in fact get power armour.

Awww crap, I hope it's not too high so my Willpower-based psyker can still nab it.

Personally would haven not allowed players to get Power Armor, people associate too much 40k to just Space Marines who are comparetively to the Imperial Guard soldiers very few, like 0,001% is Space Marines in this galaxy for the Imperium of Man so this game should have shown the human aspect more and I would rather have avoided all the basic trope power armor chararcters we already have Space Wolf and Sister of Battle character that you can join your party.

People are wrong - Power Armor is used by Sisters of Battle en mass and several Inquisitors in books had used it too.

It's actually more common than that, a lot of the higher ups have power armor, like rogue trader militant, sisters of silence, crusaders, some big shot tech-priests or even nobles.

Power armor is just very expensive, it's if you have the money you can get one for your size.

Yes. And you need not only to buy it (and it's stupidly expensive indeed) but have a Tech-priest nearby to do the repairs after battle. So it require not only money but also some status (to make a deal with Mechanicus).

Power armour? Yes.
Like a Space Marine's? No.

SM power armou requires one goes through the SM super-human process, and you cannot do it while being old enough to be a Rogue Trader.
SM armour is unusable by normal humans. It is far more protective that most other power armour, but it is also much bulkier, and requires that you have bioengineered strength to use.

Actually - yes too, but only together with a Space Marine himself ;)
