How to return to Flagship after landing?

So I finished the prologue, and I'm exploring the planet of Footfalls. I want to return to my ship but the problem is that it's not showing up on the map area selection. Am I locked into Footfalls for now, or am I dumb and missing something?

Isnt it part of your quest there to wait until your ship is repaired/maintained until you can leave Footfall?

I am also stuck at this point. I have all of my quests telling me to talk to people on the ship but cannot find the entrance to the ship to talk to them. Not sure if there is a dialog bug or what that did not trigger, but frustrating.

When you first arrive to footfall, you can't return to your ship until you talk to the liege (afaik)
Once you've talked to the liege you can return to the ship via the dropship you landed on in the void dock

To make it clear: you need to talk to the liege and trigger a call from vox master vigidis. After that you can return to the dock and go back to the point where you landed. Note that the map will not show an exit point to the ship. You should trigger a cutscene with Heinrix when you arrive at the bay. If not, you are not at the right shipping bay, go to the neighbouring one.

So in posterity, legitimate problem. Basically the cutscene when you arrive teleports your character to the middle of the void ship dock. So fog of war your map doesnt show the top left corner of the dock where your dropship is. So the "Return to ship" icon on the map doesnt appear when you look at the map because you techincally havent discovered it yet. To solve go wander around looking for a shuttle ship in the void dock.
