Yet another CRPG without "toggle highlights"?
Why isn't the option standard, if it's one of the most used mods in every single CRPG that doesn't bring it by default?

I mean to hit tab once and everything highlights forever, instead of holding it

You clearly don't understand what toggle means. I comfy couch game and only use a mouse, a toggle would be nice

Just pay more attention on the Screen, BG3 taught me this. No need for perma highlight or pressing tab every 2 seconds.

Oh hey look, #1 most downloaded mod does that and more: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/
"Switches "Show all items" (highlighting all interactables, default left ALT key/right stick) from requiring a held input to an on/off switch"

dont care about mods, its how the devs wanted it. Makes a lot of sense.

Weird. You just tap it on controller. It does turn off after a bit.

The point has gone over your head. What any dev want is completely irrelevant, most of the time. What the mod is proving, though, is that a huge portion of the player base want certain interface features that are not available by default, or they want them done differently. Just have a look at the number of unique downloads. 700K+. That is a gigantic number, considering most people tend to not even be adventurous enough to use mods.

What any dev want is completely irrelevant, most of the time. On the other hand, what is almost always relevant is what the customer wants. And OP is one such customer, who is free to want what he wants, and to give his own feedback about it.

In any case, the 90'+ 'players' are assisted, they can no longer do anything without tools/mods to overcome their weaknesses, instead of working on them. Just Wow, the number of people who can't play without mods for raids/instances/mm+ because they are so not attentive that they need a mod that goes 'Drinnng' when the boss cleave, 'Dong' when he lost aggro and a list of what the boss does in 5 sec. Or even macro: -''hi, I press a button like an idiot to not do my skillz rotation because it's too hard to do it on several buttons...''- In short, the ''players '' of today make me laugh, at the slightest difficulty if a mod does not exist to remove this difficulty, they complain.

Wow, another player who fails at reading comprehension and confuses convenience with difficulty.

It should be an option. It's not a big issue for me but it would be great from an accessibility point of view. I'm saying this as someone who works with a lot of disabled gamers.

Be better devs, inclusion for all. ❤️

No, it's just that by adding lots of convenience you inevitably make the game easier.
