Price politics?
Am I the only one, thinking 50€ is a bit much?

This is no hatepost. I havent played any other owlcat games or anything, but this is far from AAA besides the day one DLC and season pass. I´ve read that there are stability issues and some bug here and there. So Basicly, this is not a Finished polished product.

I do understand the Studio has to make a living and has costs to pay, but for me as Customer this feels off.
I feel like if this would´ve been 35-40€, it would be a more reasonable approach and an instant buy for me.

Am I the only one?

And yes, I am poor.

You are mixing up the dlcs, theres no day one content dlcs. Its just seperate packs of the various preorder bonus items.

And the first real content isnt available before next summer.

You can get the game cheaper much elsewhere.

But I don't think $50 for it is a bit much, it's a long CRPG.

I'm afraid that as a general rule of thumb, game studio game prices has a price hike this year and things will cost a bit more than you'd expect.

Then again, prices have stayed the same for 12 years, unlike every other entertainment media, so it's kind of fair enough.

Sucks, though.

That may be true but you forget the change of logistics since it moved from physical aviablity to digital on demand only. So that cuts some costs aswell.
Just been in the nearest couple of Multimedia traders with games and such and I´ve seen 0 physical copies.
If I would´ve been able to purchase a hardcopy of the game I´ve might have bought it.

Part of the pricing is definitely to pay GW for the license. But yea it is a bit over the top for a AA release. What I can say is of their 2 previous games, 1 of them is in my top 5 of all times favourite video games list. 130 something hours, loved every minute of it. 2 of my mates played it, both loved it to death as well. They got a special touch these guys.

If your unsure about paying the 50 for this one, pick up Wrath of the Righteous during the next sale, give it a shot. Really can't do wrong with it.

this game has 100h+ amount of content, I think the price is fine. Its a lot of cheaper on "other sites" though, if you still want to buy it.
