Lower budget, yeah, but these are seriously the WORST animations for stepping out of cover and firing I've EVER seen. For the first few times I saw those I thought the animations must be broken, but no, they just look like that.

I think you are missing the gigantic scale and freedom the Rogue Trader has. When an indie studio makes a huge game such as this, there will be compromises. Sure it ain't BG3 quality (and I love that game) but it's a damn good game. I kinda feel bad for people that avoid because of visuals because they are missing on a really good story with complex gameplay that allows almost if not everyone to find the role they enjoy.

i'm missing what now cause other indies can do much better animations without looking like half as scuffed as RT but owlcat gets a free pass because content > quality.... >.> i swear you guys are beyond hopeless.

but there's hundreds of hours of content.... cut it down by 50% focus a bit more on the combat animations and the battles themselves and maybe even the crappy enemy ai that constantly demands to burst fire in front of 3 allies and maybe you get yourself a quality release.
