How much of a sandbox is this game?
How much freedom is there in the choices of the player? Do the story elements as you want or is there an invisible hand guiding that progression

There will always be story element guiding you.
You can choose your destination and such, but this isn't a sandbox where you can just ignore the plot and go kill random people like GTA.

Well damn. I wanted to wonder around a 40k universe and semi explore the lore and different stories.

You will explore a lot of the Warhammer 40K lore in this game, so get it if you like the lore.
