Online only, sorry.
To fix this, the player on GoG need only roll back their version to 1.0.62.389. In order to do this, go to Rogue Trader on GoG Galaxy and press the button to the right of the "Play" button > Manage Installation > Configure... > uncheck "Automatically update to newest version" > select "Version Windows 1.0.62.389". Assuming there have been no updates for either client since yesterday, you should now be able to play together.
To verify, check that your version numbers match. You can see the co-op version in the lower right in the co-op menu.
Unfortunately until this is fixed we are unable to take advantage of this new feature.
