I want to support Owlcat as much as the next guy and I'm also familiar with how buggy their other releases were, but I don't understand how none of these bugs were squashed before release. Maybe it's my fault for not paying them to be their Beta Tester, lol.
ETA: Not using mods, SpecialK or anything other than a custom portrait.
There are plenty of games at this caliber (i.e crpg) that don't crash. Hell BG3 is 3 tier up and there are no widespreading errors on launch.
After kingmaker I definitely would give any owlbear product 30-60 days to mature after launch.
And I like their products.
Yes, did it exactly like you said. Well, got no freezes but CTDs.
Funny thing, after that I played half of today and it didn't crash even once.
Just maybe, because it is mentioned here, I disabled my extern fps limit and only use the ingame options for that. Don't ask me when, tried too much. I mean, Owlcat put in als those options and this time in Unity, it seems to work?!
I guess
