FSR works on Nvidea, its not proprietary like DLSS. I would rather have the one that is not locked to one brand and works freely no matter who makes your graphics card.

Why not have both?

I would like DLSS as well, I find FSR, even on ultra quality makes the game blurry to the point of it looking like an oil painting.

It's not an either or situation. Another 40K game, Darktide, has DLSS, FSR and XESS.

Tried FSR it massively blurs the hard edges making it look very cartoony, very poor compared to DLSS.

This game has some of the blurriest FSR I have ever seen. And this is without even moving. Its awful. Better off playing at a lower resolution and using whatever GPU control panel options you have to upscale.

The FSR in game is 1.0, which combined with TAA causes the the image to be very blurry. You can disable TAA, but I'd recommend either using SMAA or just not using FSR as it's just not very good. This is also likely the reason DLSS or XESS isn't in the game as FSR 1.0 is easier to implement compared to FSR 2.0, DLSS, or XESS.

For those wanting DLSS, there isn't much to be gained from this type of game where the camera doesn't move much.

My suggestion is the following

Those who have Nvidia RTX GPUs, suggestion to make the game look much sharper with lower performance costs.

- Enable DLDSR 2.25x from Nvidia Control Panel (if it its possible).
- Set Desktop to that resolution
- Run the game and set game to that new resolutions
- Enable FSR and set it to HIGH QUALITY, Sharpness to 50%
- Disable Anti Aliasing, there will be a bit of pixel crawl, but DLDSR will fight it a bit

How did you make that comparison? the game doesn't have DLSS at all.

Just disable any form of Anti Aliasing and bham..the game looks extraordinary better.

Also my suggestion to use DLDSR 2.25x with FSR High Quality results in an very good sharpness and visuals, without burning down your RTX GPU.

Also RTSS Scanline sync is better for this game, instead of using Vsync when using 60Hz display.

except FSR is trash and degrades the image. DLSS does not.

DLSS is not as good as native rendering quit drinking the coolade.
