People want inclusivity in a 40k game. That is akin to wanting a high gore slasher film played on the children's channel or for participants in a pride march to be forced to give praise and worship to Alex Jones.
40k is the most racist, xenophobic and chaotic universe where everything is evil and suffering until inevitable death is the only constant.
Hate IS the driving cause of humanity.

You don't play a 'good guy' in 40k. You play someone with varying degrees of evil, where morality is always a weakness and life only exists to serve in the pursuit of further death, destruction and torment.

Mortal kombat is what it is. There's nothing shameful about it. It has always been a title about gratituous skin and violence. So you trying to shame insult the very thing that attracts players to the franchise is weird. Mind you, if society can force such changes, they can eventually force others as well, even to the extent of removing fatalities altogether. That's why I mentioned about such pressures eventually "seeping" into games.

The same argument you put forth could also be made for letting the rogue trader be other races than human or having female space marines. That isn't going to destroy the franchise, after all, it's just pixels no?

No it is not a comparison as Rogue Trader is not a Owlcat IP. It belongs to Games Workshop and what they say goes.
Also you do know that in the 1989 mini fig release to Rogue Trader there were female Space Marines, namely Jayne and Gabs, but no male Space Marines? No. Well GW actually removed females from their SM lineup, but guess you didn't cry over that.

In the early Citadel lineup, there were mixed genders of all characters, even SM.

And really? Mortal Kombat has always been about showing skin? Did you enjoy Jhonny Cage or Liu Khang, as they were the only ones that were not fully clothed characters. And the only female there (Sonya) were in a green and black commando suit. So will you try again with that excuse?

My argument was that societal pressures force undesirable changes in the franchise such as the toning down of female sex appeal in mortal kombat. If anything, I actually welcome GW sticking to male only SM which is kosher. So why would I "cry" over that?

Well, there's mortal kombat. The last two iterations of the game saw female characters showing off less skin, with 1 even more so. 1 also toned down the fatality moves by a lot.

There are no male battle sisters, because the entire reason the sisters exist, is because they are women.
It was to get around existing laws prohibiting the Ecclesiarchy from maintaining a private army.

There are no female space marines, because female bodies are not compatible with the process to create them. And even if some are, considering only 0.000000000000000000001% of the male population is a potential candidate, it's not worth the cost in resources to try and find them, or the risk of rebellion by breaking 20,000 years of tradition in such an inflexible and ridged society.

Outside of Space Marines, most of the Imperial fighting forces are multi gendered. Nothing as mundane as biology matters.
The Astra Militarum needs bulk bodies, most soldiers are expected to only last a couple of hours on their first battlefield.
And the Mechanicus generally mindslave their warriors and augument them with so many cyborg 'upgrades' that it really doesn't matter what the base person was.

When it comes to gender, despite all the evils of the 40k universe, it really doesn't matter, even amongst the xeno populations.
Every race that actually has gender, is too busy trying to stave off genocide to not put a weapon in the arms of anything that could possibly use it.

The new females in MK is an addon, there were not there originally. Sonya were the only female out of the 6 different players you could play. And she were in full combat fatigue.

Many of the others didn't join until MKII and onwards. So no I am not being disingenuous, but since you hate the change they made in MK11, then stop playing the game. Noone is forcing you. But now I has spend enough time on you ranting about how unfair you imagne you might become once.

Just because sonya was the only female depicted in the first game doesn't mean others didn't exist in the MK universe at that time. Even then, she was never in full combat fatigue. She was in a tight sports bra and a pair of tight yoga pants, both of which accentuated her curves. Even her yoga pants had an odd black triangle at the crotch area to make it look like an exterior underwear. Moreover, she was popular not because she was a a strong or interesting character but because she was sexy.

Nor can we ignore all the other titles that came after (spanning 3 decades) that introduced even more female characters with strong sex appeal that greatly increased its popularity. That's being disingenuous.

Saying to "stop playing" is a red herring because it diverts from my initial point about societal pressures eventually seeping into franchises.

There is no need for female space marines. It would spoil how awesome the sisters of battle are air. Dropping entire cathedrals into the battlefield, unleashing tanks which are pipe organs, all blaring hymns and chanting. Thousands of fanatical potentially battle sisters in (conventional) powered armor marching out landing impossible shots through literal faith and burning everything heretical to death, in a variety of flavors between self-flagellating, utterly dead silent and/or fighting with DEGLOVED HANDS.

"Hey Mechanicus since we have such good terms with each other and have infinite funds, give this sister who distinguished herself when converting a conquered planet 2 more mechanical arms so she can use even more boltguns/plasma cannons/heavy flamers/chainwords in whatever order she wants. Here is a letter from our top leadership restricting what parts of her brain you can replace by how much if at all and please note it halts both you and her from adding more arms or replacing her entire digestive system with an engine, do not test us again."

They often work with the inquisition for their missions due to their zeal favoring the inquisitions focused work and.. manner. Commissars have trouble keeping up with their fervor and might find themselves executed for trying to hold them back from or slowing them down (which otherwise can also happen to those assigned to the Krieg corps and Catachan Jungle Fighters respectively). A commissar walking into a hospitaliars tent to execute injured soldiers in her care will either immediately or eventually spend a number of months experiencing her past training handling the inquisition's torture sessions before being turned into a (just conscious enough) servo-skull for eternity. Oh you're a guard who proved your faith and dedication in their presence before perishing? They will reward you by turning you into a fully aware servo skull to serve the emperor eternally alongside them and you will LOVE IT.

And lets not forget that even the disgraced Sisters of Battle are even more insane in their attempts to repent for "sins" which vary between major to even imagined slights against the code. The Repentia will run into battle in untold numbers with just a loin cloth and a chain sword larger than they are with fervor equal to if not beyond the krieg corps. One spontaneously detonated into a Living Saint in the middle of a meat grinder battle just out of sheer faith and belief.

All of this after they lost a significant amount of their forces because the majority of their main bases were located along the line where the warp split the galaxy in half. No one even knows whats going on with the other side and if the people caught in the systems wide line of Chaos were lucky enough to outright die.

TLDR. Focused gruesome awesomeness is better than dilution.

All these races are known to have served with Rouge Traders on several occasions.

Besides those options theres also Sslyths, who usually serves as mercenaries for Drukhari, while i dont think they have publicly worked with RTraders before, theres no ideological/lore reason why they wont.
Hell this game would be a great chance to promote the Votann faction with a companion.

Instead we get the most boring vanilla flavor companions.

theres also no female space marines because they didnt sell well back in the day so they were just not used in the stories and the miniatures were no longer made and now its too late to add them again cause for one trying to explain them into canon would be a ♥♥♥♥♥ (not impossible) and second alot of incels would lose there ♥♥♥♥.
personally i like the idea of giant buff female space marines dont get me wrong i like the sisters of battle but there not gaint for one and there also mortal so time gets them if battle doesnt.
