Pretty much every faction has reason to work with or fight against every other faction in the lore but some things are more common than others and some things are very rare. Craftworld Eldar will work with some of the other races when they feel they need to or are trying to manipulate things in their favor.
Some eldar like outcasts/corsairs work as mercenaries in groups or solo like rangers so you'll see them around.
Dark eldar will work with most people but usually backstab them later (I think corsairs used to or maybe still do work like this in the lore as well).
In general tho eldar tend to stay away from Chaos especially anything to do with Slaanesh.
But I can't imagine seeing an eldar of any kind leading a group that included non-eldar like we see in an rpg.
Yeah... inclusive, like disney which is burning to the ground, go woke, go broke.
Stop being racist to fictional aliens that want to eat your neighbours >:(
Lots of weirdos of a particular political camp who have been hounding warhammer and 40k in particular the past few years over some really strange stuff that they want to force to be changed to align better with their politics. They get really upset over the idea of different alien species not holding hands and getting along in a fictional world defined by the tagline "There is only War".
I was a bit worried about this game because the discord for Owlcat was very hostile (or "toxic" as the kids say) atmosphere unless you're really into politics, and a certain kind of politics. You'll get permabanned on a whim for just talking about the game. But that's just moderators for most places acting like they do. Thankfully it didn't reflect the attitudes of the devs as a whole or rub off poorly on the game itself. At least far as ive seen anyways.
Well, there's mortal kombat. The last two iterations of the game saw female characters showing off less skin, with 1 even more so. 1 also toned down the fatality moves by a lot.
That is not a franchise destruction, that is just you crying over you cannot play with your self with watching pixels on a screen. A bit sad actually. But good of you to come to terms with your idea of "FRANCHISE DESTROYED!!" is less nudity, maybe you should just search for what you crave. Or has mommy put a age filter on web searches?
Wheres my Kroot mercenary?
Jokaero?
Ork Freebootaz?
Tau?
All these races are known to have served with Rouge Traders on several occasions.
Besides those options theres also Sslyths, who usually serves as mercenaries for Drukhari, while i dont think they have publicly worked with RTraders before, theres no ideological/lore reason why they wont.
Hell this game would be a great chance to promote the Votann faction with a companion.
Instead we get the most boring vanilla flavor companions.
Mortal kombat is what it is. There's nothing shameful about it. It has always been a title about gratituous skin and violence. So you trying to shame insult the very thing that attracts players to the franchise is weird. Mind you, if society can force such changes, they can eventually force others as well, even to the extent of removing fatalities altogether. That's why I mentioned about such pressures eventually "seeping" into games.
The same argument you put forth could also be made for letting the rogue trader be other races than human or having female space marines. That isn't going to destroy the franchise, after all, it's just pixels no?
Even if the Emperor had a hypocrite day and made one personally? :P
Considering that RT are given to exceptional loyal humans by default when a RT dynasty is created, I don't there is a xeno community that impressed the Emperor/Primarch enough to get a RT Charter.
Even if they exist nowdays they will be known as an abhuman strain having a mandate of trade. And be extremely rare.
Out of universe is that GW will never green light a non human Rogue Trader.
