Game crashing during character creation

The game keeps crashing during character creation, nothing useful in terms of an error message.
The furthest I have go to is the "press any key" at the end of loading, but have had the crash during picking options, during the loading bar, and at the 100% points.

Does the game have a log file anywhere to tell me what's happening and why its crashing?

Try verifying your game files. If that doesn't help, try cleaning the cache by deleting all files except saved games from the following folder: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader

I have done a verify games files, found one to be reacquired but still same issue.
Have cleared everything in Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader directory (haven't got far enough to have any save files yet)
Still having the same issue.

Does it crash to the main menu or to OS? Which OS are you using and does the PC fit minimal requirements?

Crash to OS
Running Windows 10
PC fits minimum requirements.

Fix was a full machine restart after installing
