Even with a fast Internet, that can take a while to download. And there are still monthly data caps for many ISPs. Also, it's not an insignificant amount of disk space.

100 GB is probably required for compressing and decompressing files during installation, will likely be 40-60 gb download.

Seriously? Coming from a fellow Aussie no less.
100gb would take me hours. would probably leave it overnight/while at work honeslty if it were that big.
Gratz for being one of the 1%'ers lucky enough to be on FTTP I guess but it's not the reality for everyone.

True man, im in the Philippines. I wish i had Starlink, but i got a local turd internet. So i will have to let it downlod for probably 3-4 hours...but will be worth it in the end. Was waitin gfor thi game to come out.

I downloaded the Beta thinking I'd be able to import a save game, didn't end up playing. It took about 38gb for me to download.

If I had to guess, based on the fact the final game will be more complete and have the full game it will likely be anywhere between 40 to 50 GB. Most of the engine and content that takes size would have been in the Beta.

No its a Aussie that probably has fiber or something big balls. I am not that lucky to have a very high speed internet here in Philippines. But wither way i'm sure its between 40-50gb so it will be around 3-5 hour download.

Yeah my mistake. I just went to the FAQ and it has the specs there but says 100GB. I'm guessing that was a place holder and never changed.

And yes im an Aussie and it would take me a few hours to download 100gb (if it was that big). Still a few hours is nothing compared to a few years ago.
