What is <STAT> bonus?
I have subskin armor, which is supposed to give me +5+2x(TOU) Bonus% to armor. My Toughness is 55. When I put on an armor that has 25% armor, it shows 25% on my character page still.

What is TOU Bonus? Isnt't it my toughness? Or the feat isn't working? Or it works, just the bonus doesn't show up in the character page?

It's a hold over from the core system. A stat bonus is the 10s place in the number, so Toughness 55 should be 5 so following the calculation you provided it would be 5+2x(5). So effectively a 15% increase.

Well, then the feat doesn't seem to be working - even if it isn't additive but multiplicative, it should be 29% armor.

I saw somewhere else that it is actually working in combat but not displaying correctly on the character page. I'm about to test that.

this was were i am confused too,i was assuming 35% but if thats not the case then maybe they need to change the tooltips bit of maths since 7 times 5 aint 15 and that sum has no other parameters to explain why it is 15

ok in my day this equation would have been written out like this showing which part to do first (2 x tgh bonus) +5

In math there is an order of operations (ie what to do first so you do not need to do parenthesizes or brackets).
Also I have found it can take some time for things to show up on your PC sheet or in some cases it might never show up or it might show some of the info from the last battle. It has gotten better but I have still seen some issues.

5+2x5 equals 15.

Come on, this is basic maths: Multiplication always goes first unless there's brackets involved.

It works fine. Are you using mods?

And yes, it is additive, so if you are wearing armor worth 40% it shows up as 55% on the character sheet, and not just in combat. If you hover over the number, a tooltip will appear showing just how the total figure is derived.

Dude I made this thread one and a half year ago, I have no idea why someone necroed it.

It's funny though how people are trying to do basic maths like they are the second einstein.
